Step 1: Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees and place a cast iron pan inside to warm up.

Step 2: Grab a bowl and stir together 1 ½ cups of warm water, ¾ tablespoons of dry yeast, and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Let the mixture rest until the yeast blooms. This usually takes 3 to 4 minutes.

Step 3: Place 3 cups of flour and 1 teaspoon of salt into a new, larger mixing bowl. For extra flavor, add a couple teaspoons of Italian seasoning, garlic power, minced onion flakes, red pepper flakes (only one teaspoon), fennel, basil leaves, and oregano.
