  • 1 (11 oz) package pie crust mix
  • 1 (6 oz) package Canadian-style bacon
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Step 1: Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Step 2: Divide pie crust into 4 equal parts. Flower a board and rolling pin and cover with a cloth.

Step 3: Roll out each pie crust piece into 6 inch circles and place them onto the back side of a muffin pan (3 x 1 ½ in). Make pleats so each pastry fits close.

Step 4: Bake for 8-10 minutes. Let sit for 5 minutes to cool before removing the pastries. Adjust the oven temperature to 350 degrees.

Step 5: Place 2 bacon slices at the bottom of each pastry cup. Sprinkle cheese, break egg and add milk into each. Sprinkle nutmeg and pepper.

Step 5: Place into the oven for another 15-20 minutes or until eggs are soft cooked.
