Brigadeiro is a chocolate fudge ball made of condensed milk, butter, and cocoa powder. It is the most popular and beloved ‘candy’ of Brazil.
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons of powdered chocolate
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 cup of chocolate sprinkles
- Small cupcake liners (optional, if made into small balls)
Step 1: Mix the condensed milk with the powdered chocolate and butter in a pan on low heat. Bring to a bubbling boil. This usually takes 10 minutes.
Step 2: Once boiled, let the mixture cool.
Step 3: Move the contents from the pan to a clean bowl lined with butter. Wait for the mixture to cool.
Step 4: Apply butter to your hands and roll the chocolate into small balls. Roll the Brigadeiros in the chocolate sprinkles and serve them in the cupcake liners.
