Add a bit of bubbly to your summer with this refreshing lavender rosé sangria! The dry rosé blends perfectly with the Grand Marnier and other fruity flavors for a crisp, sweet cocktail.
- 2 bottles dry rosé
- 1/2 cup Grand Marnier
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 5 fresh lavender sprigs
- 10 diced strawberries
- 10 quartered orange wheels
- 1/2 cup lavender simple syrup
- 1 cup sugar (may not use all of it)
- 1 cup water
Step 1: To make the lavender simple syrup, bring one cup water to a boil with the lavender sprigs. Remove from heat and strain the liquid into a glass measuring cup. Note how much liquid is in the measuring cup and add an equal amount of sugar to the mix (for example, if you have 1/2 cup of liquid after straining, you should add 1/2 cup of sugar).
Step 2: Combine the rosé, Grand Marnier, orange juice, lemon juice and fruit in a large punch bowl or pitcher. Stir and serve over ice with additional fruit, if left over.
