Did you know that lavender is a natural stress reliever and headache remedy? The next time you’re feeling tense – and thirsty – try whipping up some all-natural lavender lemonade. Here’s how to make this relaxing and refreshing beverage.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup honey
- 5 cups water
- 1/4 cup dried, organic culinary lavender (or 1 drop lavender essential oil)
- 6 lemons, peeled and juiced
- Lavender sprigs for garnish
Step 1: Pour half of the water into a pan, bring it to a boil and remove it from heat.
Step 2: Add honey and dried lavender, and let it steep for about 20 minutes.
Step 3: Strain the mixture, and pour it into a large pitcher or other container.
Step 4: Add lemon juice and the remaining water. Stir well.
Step 5: Refrigerate before serving.
