Get creative with your Thanksgiving meal extras by whipping up this easy leftover turkey and stuffing casserole recipe. Even if your leftovers are already gone, this recipe can be made with freshly cooked turkey or chicken and the prepared stuffing recipe* below.

  • 4 cups prepared turkey stuffing*
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded or sliced
  • 1 3/4 to 2 cups prepared turkey gravy
  • 1/3 cup jellied or whole cranberry sauce, chilled, cubed

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2: Butter the bottom and sides of a 2-quart baking dish. Arrange half of the stuffing in the bottom of the dish. Then, add half of the turkey, and top with half of the gravy.

Step 3: Repeat the layers with the remaining stuffing, turkey and gravy.

Step 4: Top with cubes or dollops of cranberry sauce, and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.

*Prepared stuffing recipe:

Step 1: Sauté 1/2 cup of diced celery and 1/3 cup of diced onion in the skillet with 2 tablespoons of butter until softened.

Step 2: Add 4 cups of herb seasoned stuffing crumbs and 1 3/4 cups of low sodium chicken broth. Mix well.

Step 3: Taste and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Add poultry seasoning, to taste, if desired.
