Winter approaches, and for many of us that means resting beside a cozy and roaring fireplace, but chopping wood can become a back-breaking endeavor. Chasing flying logs and bending over after every swing of the axe can really do some damage, but we’re here to show you a simple method for chopping wood that will save you time and your spine! The tires hold your log in place so you can move around it while you chop, making sure you’ll only have to bend over once!
Stack two tires on top of each other with a flat surface at the bottom.
Place a log in the tires.
Chop the log into quarters, moving around as you go.
Unload and repeat!
